gibbs lake 'cross. mud, snow & the beach.

there was this sinister step-down running section next to the lake. the official at the start called it "the beach." friggin' BRILLIANT.

i overheard someone setting up the course say to another volunteer "i can't believe you talked him into this." so, what seemed to be a double-dog dare turned into a center piece for the course.
